Confex 2026 (25th - 26th February) Partners with One Tribe (ECOS™) to Deliver Carbon-Responsible Event

London, UK – June 18th 2025 – International Confex is proud to announce a landmark partnership with climate action platform One Tribe (ECOS™) for its 2026 edition, taking place at ExCeL London. The partnership reinforces Confex’s commitment to sustainability, enabling carbon measurement, reporting, and offsetting across the entire event lifecycle.

The collaboration will see ECOS™ tools deployed to track and mitigate emissions generated by exhibitor stand builds, attendee travel, and overall show operations. This ensures measurable environmental accountability across all touchpoints of the event.

Ahead of the 2026 launch, One Tribe conducted a survey at Confex 2025, asking 80 exhibitors if they would support submitting data on stand construction, floor space, staffing, and travel arrangements for inclusion in a whole-event carbon footprint calculation. 92% of respondents agreed, expressing a willingness to pay a modest average fee of £149 to support the initiative and fund certified carbon offsetting. The data gathered would be aggregated with the organiser’s own emissions, allowing for a full and transparent environmental report on the show.

Jack Newey, Portfolio Director at Mash Media, commented:

“We have a strong commitment to cutting down waste and compensating for the footprint of Confex each year. Teaming up with One Tribe (ECOS™) will allow us to do exactly that by empowering our customers with a solution that offers clarity and simplicity.”

The ECOS™ platform has been purpose-built for the events industry, enabling fast and accurate emissions data reporting and carbon offsetting solutions that are simple to integrate.

David Elliott, CEO of One Tribe, added:

“Confex is a great platform from which to promote our technology to a highly engaged audience that values innovation. Jack Newey and his team have created a brilliant annual gathering of the wider exhibition industry, and we are very pleased to partner with them.”

This partnership forms part of Mash Media’s broader sustainability strategy, helping exhibitors and attendees alike to reduce their carbon footprint and make more sustainable choices.
